Exercise – Regular exercise will help in prevention of the Spinal Stenosis. Exercise makes your body more powerful. It also helps in keeping you fit and improves your immune system. So your body will be able to fight any problem caused specially to your spinal cord.

While sitting try to be straight. While lifting an item don’t bend your back, instead sit and then slowly lift the item.

The seat on which you sit should be comfortable and according to the standard. You can adjust your seat accordingly. If needed add a small towel or cushion to support your back, which will save you from Spinal Stenosis. Maintain the normal curve of your body while sitting.

Exercise and diet will ensure that you have a healthy weight. So exercise regularly and watch your diet. Always avoid too much weight to prevent Spinal Stenosis and to avoid other problems also.
